The DNSP3 horizontal well for deep coalbed methane rolling exploration in the Daniudi gas field, undertaken by the 50878HB drilling team of Shanhuabei Wupu Branch, was started at 18:00 on June 3, 2024, completed at 13:10 on July 13, and completed at 03:00 on July 14.

The drilling depth is 4600 meters, the actual horizontal section is 1500 meters, the drilling cycle is 36.80 days, the completion cycle is 40.38 days, and the well construction cycle is 47.54 days.

Pre design drilling cycle of 18.20 days and acceleration of 33.09%, pre design completion cycle of 22.62 days and acceleration of 35.90%.

This well has achieved a single drilling of 1500m in the horizontal coal seam section, breaking the record for the fastest drilling cycle, completion cycle, well construction cycle, longest horizontal coal seam section of 1500m, fastest average mechanical drilling speed of 13.36m/hour for the entire well, longest single drill bit footage of 1500m in the horizontal section, lowest coal seam orientation ratio of 2.9% in the horizontal section, highest average total hydrocarbon content of 46%, and deepest horizontal coal seam gas well of 4600m in Daniudi.
