The DK13-FP43 well, constructed by the Wupu 50790HB drilling team, is a three-level horizontal well with a guide hole in the Lower Paleozoic.

The well has set a record for the longest horizontal section of the Lower Paleozoic in the Daniu geological area with a length of 2100m, and for the longest water level displacement in the Daniu geological area with a horizontal displacement of 3063.28m.

It has also achieved a single drill bit depth of 2100m and a 6-inch drill bit depth in the Daniu geological area, providing a strong technical demonstration for the efficient development of three-level horizontal wells with long horizontal sections in the Lower Paleozoic in the future.

Before the construction of the horizontal section of the well, the drill bit aggressiveness was adjusted based on the lithological characteristics of the Lower Paleozoic strata, optimizing the cutting tooth angle and tooth layout design, and deepening the water channel design to ensure the drill bit aggressiveness and wear resistance, while taking into account the requirements of mechanical drilling speed and footage.

During the drilling construction process, the selection of suitable drill bits was planned and optimized in advance, and the drilling construction task of the well was completed safely, with high quality and efficiency.
